Our Client – a James Beard Nominated Chef, Winner of Best New Restaurant in the Bay Area – wished to create a designed landscape for his newly restored Napa Valley home that expressed the agrarian elegance and refinement associated with the Champagne region of France, where he grew up.   This artful mix of comfortable elegance in the landscape were expressed in the design of a new entry court of appropriate scale, detailed with the inclusion of olive trees, boxwood, planters and classical French Courtyard Fountain.  Together, with properly framed views of Napa Valley, these provided a landscape setting, expressive of the Client’s relationship with people and food, where life’s daily patterns and celebration greet you warmly throughout the seasons.
